Honest and Concise

The software tester is doing her best work when she’s able to provide honest, concise information to people who ask.

Is the development team having problems in their ongoing sprint project? Is this button supposed to take me to a new page when clicked? What changes have we made in this product in the past that may be the reason why it is behaving like this now? Why is the programmer taking time in fixing this issue? Can we release tomorrow?

It’s not so easy to find the answers that we need to give. Other times, it’s also tempting to fake results because we want to look good. If we want to build remarkable careers in the field though, we must do the hard work and make sure that what we spread do not mislead.
